Susanne started baking with her mom as far back as she can remember. "Baking was how I showed my love and I was always happiest doing it." After a career in the software industry and many years as a stay at home mom, Susanne went back to school. This time to the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts where she studied under a master French pastry chef. After working in the culinary industry for a few years, Susanne filled in for a friend and taught a French Macaron class. It was at that moment she discovered what she was meant to do. "Teaching that first class was my 'Aha moment'. I was teaching individuals with various levels of comfort in the kitchen. It was such a joy to see them create the macs, enjoy the process and be successful that I knew teaching others was what I should be doing." A short time later Le Petit Whisk was born.
When Susanne isn't teaching or baking you can find her swimming, biking and running as she trains for her next triathlon.
